The Pro's...
You can't beat the price,
simplicity and thoroughness of content. Jay shows very
clearly that simple and tame techniques can bring good results
with Google. The half-off discount on his Easy SEO software is
significant.
And Cons...
Because there's been a push away from mini and micro sites
in favor of content ladened sites, you may feel like you're
dealing with yesterday's news. Also, with Google's ever
changing system of rules, some of the concepts such as the
classic Google Dance and Everflux, may not be entirely
applicable...today. On the other hand, with the
strategies Jay gives, it probably won't make a
difference.
On A Personal Note...
Because I like to keep
things simple, and admit to being a little lazy, I've
primarily used the information in this guide for my
fledgling forays into SEO. And even after Google's
much maligned Florida Update, I've still
received excellent Google
positions for product review keywords like public domain
riches review and even the phrase public domain
riches without the word review. Results
have also been decent in Yahoo, but far more volatile than
described in Jay's Micosite Miracles, and certainly not a
carbon copy of the results in Google.
The Bottom
Line
If you're seeking
search engine ranking, but want something simpler and
more basic than the ebooks by either Sean Burns or Michael
Campbell, or less controversial than Stephen A.
Pierce's Smart Pages, you'll find this simple ebook a real
treat. Though extremely simple, the techniques revealed by Jay
Stockwell can be very effective. Plus, as part of
the ebook, you get a huge disount on Jay's Easy SEO software.
Add it all up, and Microsite Miracles remains a
superb product.
